Maple Turnip
MAPLE TURNIP
To boiled mashed medium sized turnip, add 2 T butter, ¼ c maple syrup, ¼ tsp nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Put in buttered dish and top with crushed corn flakes or crumbs, bake at 300 F. for 20-30 minutes. Can freeze.
